Fundraising Products

It is probably the most popular way of raising money for any purpose but especially for fundraising. Selling products to raise money works and there are lots of fundraising products you can sell for your church, school, or any other non-profit organization that you want to help. If you choose the right merchandise you can make some good money but if you get it wrong you could end up losing money and maybe have a whole stock of things that you just can't sell. Do some research before you commit yourself to a particular profuct. Make sure that the products you plan to sell, will actually sell and to do this you need to ask people if they would be interested if you were selling that product. There are a lot of products available so it should be easy enough to find fundraising products that will be popular and will sell. Here are a few ideas of some fundraising products you might want to consider.

Food: Everybody eats food. If you'd like to sell food for your next fundraiser, there are tons of options available. Try candy like lollipops or gourmet chocolates. Or, why not go with cheesecake and fudge? For fundraising products that are delightfully different, try selling fun-shaped pasta or do-it-yourself pizza kits. You could go with gourmet coffee, or frozen cookie dough in a variety of flavors. Gourmet cheese, smoked sausage, jams, jellies, teas and cocoa also make fantastic fundraising products.

Cookbooks: Cookbooks are always popular choices for fundraising products. People enjoy a good cookbook, and even more so when it helps support a worthwhile cause. Try a specialty cookbook like Italian or Asian foods, or recruit the best recipes from the community and create a down-home cookbook that features family favorites.

T-Shirts: Why not have the name of your school, church, or other organization emblazoned onto cotton T-shirts? Order the shirts in a variety of different sizes and colors to offer everyone in the community the perfect shirt for them.

Seeds & Bulbs: Many people love to garden. Seeds & bulbs can be great fundraising products to help your organization raise money. Try selling tulip bulbs, as well as a variety of perennial and annual seeds. Or, you could have a flower sale and sell flowers in bloom that are offered in pretty pots and containers.

Christmas Items: If it's the holiday season, why not try selling Christmas collectibles like Santa figurines, little snowmen, and Christmas tree ornaments. Or, sell gift wrap, which everyone will need this holiday season!

These represent just a tiny fraction of the selection of great fundraising products available to sell. There are so many other fantastic items out there that people will be happy to buy to help you raise money for your nonprofit organization. Whatever it is that you would like to sell for your fundraiser you can probably find it offered by one of the fundraising organizations that want your business.
